NEW -- The State Department of Health Services, Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), completes a state and federal survey every four years. The Behavioral Health Division’s (BHD) last survey was completed in 2006. Below you will find the 2010 survey and BHD’s proposed plan of correction.  The proposed action plan is currently pending review and approval by DQA.

 The Behavioral Health Division provides care and treatment to developmentally, emotionally and mentally ill adults, children and adolescents through both County-operated programs and contracts with community agencies. Services include intensive short-term treatment through our crisis services and inpatient services. Long-term inpatient care is available through the Division's nursing home programs.

 

The Division provides a full array of supportive community services for persons with serious mental illness and alcohol and other drug abuse services to the community.
